Park & Ride
For competitors and spectators travelling from outside of the city, a park and ride tram service is available from Meadowhall, Sheffield Arena, Valley Centertainment and Nunnery Square. Trams on this route will run every 10 minutes from 0730 onwards. Once on the tram, please exit at the Cathedral Supertram stop and walk down Fargate to Surrey St, follow Surrey St down to Arundel Gate to reach the start assembly areas. If you want to use the baggage facility, please exit at City Hall trap stop, then walk down Barkers Pool (crossing Pinstone St - this road has live traffic operating on it) joining Surrey St and onto Arundel Gate for the start assembly areas.
Travel DirectionsFrom the North:
Leave the M1 at Junction 34, signed Sheffield A6019 (Meadowhall). Take 4th exit on the roundabout signed for Sheffield Centre. Follow signs for Sheffield Centre (A6019) for 1.5 miles and then turn left following signs to the Ring Road (A6102).
From the South:
Leave the M1 at Junction 33. Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto the A630 (Sheffield). Continue for 2.5 miles until the exit marked Ring Road (services). Follow signs for the Ring Road straight over a small roundabout. Turn right at the next roundabout onto the Ring Road/Meadowhall (A6178).
A tram ticket from the Arena to City Centre is around £3.70.

Full traffic diversion signage will be in place at all locations affected by road closures. Event
stewards and course staff will assist residents and motorists wherever possible to allow
access to and from properties within the road closures whenever it is safe to do so. Please
note that for safety reasons no access will be permitted after 09:00.
The Supertram service will not be directly affected by the event, but may be subject to delays
due to increased traffic levels on Infirmary Road. All bus services operating to or from
Sheffield City Centre with the exception of service 53A, 65, 215, 218, 240, 242 and 272 will
be using alternative routes from the start of service until 16:30.
