Bloodwise are the UK’s largest blood cancer charity. We’re here to beat blood cancer. We stop people dying from blood cancer, we make patients’ lives better and we stop people getting blood cancer in the first place.

We fund world-class research and offer expert information and support to anyone affected by leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancer related disorders and we won’t stop until we’ve beaten blood cancer.

We can’t do any of this without your support, so why not sign up to run for Bloodwise, the official charity partner of the Birmingham International Marathon, and help us change the world for blood cancer patients and their families.

Birmingham Children's Hospital
Birmingham Children's Hospital

Hospitals are bewildering, scary and unsettling for anyone but especially for children. Whether its £5 to fund some colouring books whilst waiting for test results, or £42,000 for a life saving machine. Charitable donations are key to making us a centre of paediatric excellence that the whole country depends on. Our aim for the 250,000 children that we treat each year is that their family knows our care of their child is our most precious priority.

Macmillan Cancer Support
Macmillan Cancer Support
There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it will be 4 million people, and we want to be there for them all. One in three of us will get cancer, and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face. Our goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone. We provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. And because cancer affects more than just those facing it, we’re there for friends and family too. We are Macmillan. 0207 840 7878

ICP Support
ICP Support

Every day in the UK around 10 babies are stillborn and intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) will be one of the causes. ICP is a complex liver condition of pregnancy caused by a combination of hormones, genetics and environment. It affects around 5,500 women a year in the UK and its main symptom, itching, is debilitating for women. The itching can be so severe that women do not sleep and some have reported feeling suicidal.

At ICP Support we provide the most up-to-date information there is on the condition and support hundreds of parents who face the anxiety of a possible stillbirth. We also raise awareness of the condition, lobby for better treatment and management of ICP pregnancies, develop educational tools to help health professionals and work closely with the scientists who are trying to better understand the condition.

Our vision is to ensure that every ICP baby is born safely – with your help we can make this a reality.
