The Great Yorkshire Run launched in 2007 and took Sheffield by storm, with almost 5,000 people taking part in the very first event.
Many famous faces and world-class athletes have made their way to the steel city to run the 10k, including Benita Johnson, Freya Murray and Olympic medallist Eliud Kipchoge.
The event has grown into a weekend of family fun and now includes the Junior & Mini Great Yorkshire Run, as well as live musical performances entertaining the crowds throughout the course and across the city centre.
The past five years has seen the number of entrants almost double, as the Great Yorkshire Run continues to bring a great day of running to Sheffield.
