The 2014 Bupa Great North Run Pasta Party returns to the Gateshead Quayside on Saturday 6 September as part of a weekend celebration of sport in the North East.
Free to attend for all Bupa Junior and Mini Great North Runners and their families.
Doors open at 09.30 at the Mill Road Car Park, Gateshead Quayside.
There are lots of fun things to do on the day including inflatable pole vault, ‘test your speed’ against times set by Mo Farah and Usain Bolt in the running tunnel, mini football tournaments, live music, street food, pasta party and much more!
The event will take place at the same site as the Great North CityGames, which sees Olympic gold medallists from London 2012 in action and is broadcast live on BBC 1. The event is once again set to bring world-class competition to the NewcastleGateshead Quayside. No tickets are required and the event is free to spectate.
The Bupa Great North Pasta Party is open to anyone, and last year over 18,000 bowls of pasta were served across the day!
