The Course

The Great Manchester Cycle course offers riders the opportunity to pedal through the closed roads of Manchester city centre and take in the sights from a whole new perspective.

Starting and finishing in the Etihad Campus, home of Manchester City FC, the route takes in Mancunian Way, a section of motorway normally off-limits to cyclists.

Participants will pass Old Trafford via the famous Sir Matt Busby Way, where they can stop at the feed station with drinks, toilets and mechanics available, before heading along the Quays and back towards Mancunian Way to the finish line.

26 and 52 mile participants will lap through the Etihad Campus.
