With Mother’s Day on the horizon it’s time to think about that perfect gift for your amazing Mum. To lend a helping hand, we’ve come up with a few suggestions if your Mum is mad about running.

Mother’s Day Run

As the special day lands on a Sunday, it’s the perfect opportunity to get out there for a training run with your Mum before you celebrate together by going out for a meal or having a few well-earned drinks.

Great Run Training Tee

Is your Mum in training for a Great Run event? Kit her out in one of our bespoke training t-shirts so she can show off how ace she is whilst out and about on her training runs.

Pair up for a challenge

If you’re both looking for something to keep you motivated, check out the Great Run website and enter an event together. With loads of places to choose from you could do something local to you, or make a weekend of it and head further afield. Whatever your fitness levels, we have distances to suit all and training together is always better.

Healthy dinner

If you’re both food lovers and in need of a good feed after a training session, why not cook up a storm in the kitchen for her. Whether it's her favourite meal or something new, stick to a lighter for starter and main, so you can treat yourself which something more indulgent for dessert.

Frame her medals

Still trying to catch your Mum up with the number of medals she has? If your Mum keeps her amazing achievements stuffed in a draw at home, sneak them out and get them framed properly so she can display them at home. It cost-effective and it will remind her of how much she’s accomplished.

Walk and talk

If running isn’t on the agenda, then why not head out on a long walk together in the fresh air. Leave your phones at home so you have some quality time together without any interruptions. Have a good natter whilst keeping active at the same time.

Donate

Is your Mum raising funds for an upcoming event? Instead of getting a big present why not get a little gift and then donate the rest to a worthy cause. It’s great for motivation when they know their sponsorship money is going up, so why not contribute.
