The 10k route starts in the city centre and takes runners past Digbeth, round Calthorpe Park to the world-famous Edgbaston Cricket Ground which marks the half way point. Runners then pass back through Calthorpe Park and aim for the infamous Bullring which marks the 9km point, before a final 1km push to Jennens Road for a grandstand finish.
The half marathon route follows the 10k route past Digbeth, round Calthorpe Park, before veering off through the beautiful Cannon Hill Park. Runners then pass around the world-famous Edgbaston Cricket Ground and head South along Pershore Road, aiming for the turnaround point at Bournville with the whiff of chocolate in the air. The half-way mark follows soon after, before runners round Selly Park and rejoin Pershore Road heading North, with music & cheering zones aplenty to keep motivation high & legs pumping. The sight of the infamous Bullring means runners have passed mile 12 and are into the final mile, with a grandstand finish awaiting on Jennens Road.
Please note course may be subject to change.
