The Great Birmingham Run is back on Sunday 7 May 2023. Join us at the Midlands’ biggest and best running event and set your sights on a 10k or Half Marathon challenge. Earlybird entries have now closed. Don’t worry if you missed out, you can still enter and be part of the action in 2023.
Great Birmingham Run entries are open to runners aged 15+ (10k) and 17+ (Half marathon) on the day of the event.

We have made the decision to introduce optional finisher tees to our Great Run events for 2023. You can choose to forgo you finisher tee shirt at the point of entry, and in lieu of this we will make a donation to the National Trust Woodlands Appeal. Find out more here.
We will donate a portion of the fulfilment costs for each runner who chooses this option to the fund and commit that this donation to be a minimum of £20,000 in 2023.

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides care, support, fun and laughter for life limited and life threatened babies, children and young people and support for their families. In the past year Acorns has cared for over 821 children across the West Midlands from its three hospices, within the family home and the community. The Hospice Charity Partnership, formed from Birmingham St Mary’s and John Taylor Hospices, provide expert palliative and end of life care to people and their families living with life-limiting illnesses. St Basils is a charity that works with 16 – 25-year-olds who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Each year we work with over 4000 young people, providing accommodation, advice and support across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
We have long since realised that providing a bed alone is not enough for young people to break the cycle of homelessness and regain the stability to rebuild their lives. We offer our young people access to a Life Skills and Employability programmes to get them back on track to further education or employment.
The Stroke Association are the UK’s leading charity dedicated to conquering stroke. We deliver stroke services across the UK, campaign for better stroke care, invest in research and fundraise to expand our reach to as many stroke survivors as possible.
