See the two sides of the city from urban streets to Glasgow’s greenest spaces on a stunning route that passes some of the city’s most famous landmarks. Starting in the heart of the city, runners soak up the atmosphere and music all the way to the finish in Glasgow Green, passing our famous entertainment zones every kilometre. It’s a party atmosphere from start to finish.
It’s a run for everyone, from locals to celebrated athletes, whether it’s your first 10k or your 50th half marathon. An inclusive celebration of Scottish running, with music blazing, crowds buzzing, legs pumping and fists bumping. Glasgow comes alive on Great Scottish Run weekend.
We support you from the get-go with training plans & advice, race day prep and motivation every step of the way. We roar you across the finish line and applaud your success in the event village. It’s an event day experience like no other.
Great Scottish Run entries are open to runners aged 15+ (10k) and 17+ (Half marathon) on the day of the event.

Entry price includes booking fee
If you rolled over your 2020 or 2021 Great Scottish Run 10k or half marathon entry, then your 2022 place is already secured.
We will communicate with all rollover entrants by email on 3 November. If you rolled over your entry and did not receive an email, or you are unsure as to whether you rolled over your entry, please contact us here.

Living with the reality of a long term health condition can be confusing and isolating. Every day activities such as picking up a knife and fork, making a cup of tea or leaving the house can feel like a massive challenge. Every year 173,000 babies, children and young people come through doors of Scotland’s largest children’s hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children and we make sure that each one of those children receive the very best care and have the very best experience possible. We do this by funding state of the art medical equipment, ground-breaking paediatric medical research, innovative play therapies and enhanced family support services. The money you raise could go to a number of services we offer like, funding a Macmillan nurse for a day to supporting a whole information centre where we can provide practical and emotional support to those in need. Plus, on race day we’ll be cheering you on right through the course at our famous cheer points to give you a boost just when you need it.
