Mind
Mind
We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Today. Now. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support and advice, and fight your corner.
We are delighted Mind has been chosen as the official charity partner for the Simplyhealth Great Run Series 2018. We know the positive impact physical activity can have on mental wellbeing so this partnership is a natural fit and will help us to reach a point where anyone with a mental health problem feels able to ask for, and access, the help they need.
Money raised will fund our vital work including our Mind Infoline, information and advice services, and our campaigning to secure a better deal for the one in four of us who experience a mental health problem every year.
Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK
Join forces with the team that will get you to the finish line. We're the only ones fighting over 200 cancer. Our life-saving work is funded entirely by the generosity of our supporters, so every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, and every runner. One in two people now survive cancer. Together we've achieved so much, but we won't stop until we've beaten it altogether. Join the team today and we will beat cancer sooner.
Bristol Sands
Bristol Sands
Bristol Sands is a local branch of the national charity Sands and is run by a group of volunteers who are all bereaved parents. We offer bereavement support to local parents who have lost a baby before, during or shortly after birth. We support them through the dark, isolating grief that comes with losing a much loved and much wanted baby. We also provide support to parents through subsequent pregnancies which can be equally frightening and isolating. Throughout the year we put on services and events where parents can come together to remember our babies and be in the company of others who understand. For more information contact us at 07970 930513
