The Christie charity is committed to revolutionising the fight against cancer by funding world reaching research, treatment and care, education and additional support services.
Everything The Christie charity helps to fund is outside the scope of the NHS. This means we rely, almost entirely, on kindness of people who come forward to support the additional research, the next new treatment and even better care for our patients at The Christie.
With 84p in every pound raised going to directly to patients, our fundraisers allow us to continue to go above and beyond for our patients and their families, and ultimately bring us a step closer to a future without cancer.
Francis House Children’s Hospice provides care for children, teenagers and young adults with a short life expectancy. At our base in Didsbury, Manchester, we support over 370 families from all over the North West, providing specialist care in a homely, happy and secure place. We help the children live life to the full and offer much needed support, friendship and encouragement to their families. We need over £4.2 million in charitable donations each year to continue to provide our services including respite care, sibling support and end of life care. Run for Francis House and help support your local children’s hospice.
