When you sign up to be a member from 2024, your membership will include:

Please be aware you do still need to pay your entry fee and register each year. Your membership means you’ll be sent a link to enter and won’t need to apply for the ballot (See FAQ section below).

AJ Bell Great North Run Membership FAQ
How do I secure my priority entry into the 2024 AJ Bell Great North Run on 8 September 2024?
The deadline to secure your priority place is 31 Jan 2024. All members of the AJ Bell Great North Run membership scheme will receive an email in November with instructions on how to secure their priority place in the 2024 event. The email is sent from firstname.lastname@example.org so please ensure you add this address to your safe senders list and keep an eye on your junk mail folders in November.
The email will include a link to our booking partner Let’s Do This and a priority entry code that is unique to you. Follow the steps below to the complete the booking form and pay the 2024 entry fee to secure your entry.
1 Click on the link in the email to visit our booking partner Let’s Do This.
2 Enter your email address and complete the booking form.
3 Click on ‘Checkout now’ to proceed with your booking.
4 Complete the booking form and select ‘Continue’
If you receive an error message.
Your email address, surname and date of birth must match the details that we have for you (i.e. the details you entered when you bought your membership). If you receive an error message, please check these details and try again. Note that the error messages appear next to all three fields, even if just one of the fields is incorrect.
5 On the next page you can choose to add on any merchandise or skip to proceed to payment.
6 Once payment is complete, you will receive a booking confirmation email from Let’s Do This confirming your entry. You will also receive an email from Great Run.
I haven’t received an email, what do I do?
Please contact the customer services team here if you haven’t heard anything by December, so they can help you get your priority entry secured before we open the ballot to everyone in January.
When do I receive my Great North Run Technical Training T-shirt?
This technical training top will be posted out in the first year of your membership term. If you join the AJ Bell Great North Run Membership scheme for the new term (2024-2026) this will be sent out in January 2024.
If my membership term has expired, can I renew this?
At the end of the three-year period members will be given the option to renew their membership at the newly published membership fee. We send an email to all members whose term has expired when entries for the new membership term opens.
