Great Scottish Run

Well done to every single person who took part in this year’s Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run – you’re all amazing! Entries for next year’s event, on Sunday 4 October, are now open!

The run numbers will start to arrive with participants approx. 2 weeks prior to the event weekend. They are posted to the address that you entered when you registered for the event.

We are unable to send run numbers outside of the UK as we cannot guarantee their safe delivery. We will make them available for collection from our information marquee.

This is your unique number, so only you must wear it on the day.

Your timing chip is attached to the back of your run number, do not remove or cover the chip (with a jacket, bum bag etc.) as this will affect the accuracy of your time.

The chip will automatically record the time, so you don’t need to do anything. Your chip doesn’t need to be returned at the end of the run.

You don’t need to register on the day, once you’ve filled in the back of the run number and attached it to your front (with safety pins) you are good to go, you can go straight to the start assembly area for your start time.

We recommend arriving ready to run and leaving any valuables with family or friends. However, if this is not possible participants will be able to leave bags in the baggage-drop area.

Remove the baggage label (which is attached to your run number), fill in the details and secure the label your bag before leaving them in the baggage area.
