The Simplyhealth Great Stirling Run (27 & 28 April) provides an opportunity to inspire the next generation to keep fit and take on a running challenge.

That’s why we’ve created the Stirling Activity Challenge; a non-competitive, cumulative half marathon challenge for primary school children ages 4-11. Not only will it develop healthy habits for children to exercise regularly, but it will be lots of fun also!

The challenge is simple: children complete the Half Marathon (13.1 miles) or Marathon (26.2 miles) course, 1 mile at a time. Every time a mile is completed participants colour in a mile on their Activity Tracker until they reach the finish line!

Everyone who completes the challenge will receive a certificate for their efforts. We’re also offering a special prize for all challenge participants who take part in the Simplyhealth Great Stirling Family Run (ages 3-8) on Saturday 27 April.

Take part in:

Simplyhealth Great Stirling Family Run

Children (ages 3+) are treated to a full race experience including race bibs, a marshalled route, music and a start and finish line gantry, allowing them to enjoy the thrill of a big sporting event and experience their own finish line moment. All participants receive a medal for completing the event. We recommend that all children are accompanied by an adult.

Everyone who completes the Stirling Activity Challenge AND enters the Simplyhealth Great Stirling Family Run will receive a special prize before the event starts on Saturday 27 April. Simply bring your completed tracker with you on the day of the run.
