Diabetes UK
Diabetes UK

Diabetes UK are delighted to be the official charity partner of the Simplyhealth Great Run Series 2019. We are leading the fight against the most devastating and fastest growing health crisis of our time, to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. There are currently 4.6 million people living with diabetes in the UK, and 12.3 million at risk of developing Type 2. Diabetes affects more people than any other serious health condition in the UK. More than dementia and cancer combined. That means we need to take action now. It's a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Until we achieve our vision. Join the team and get amazing support and an unforgettable experience. If you have any questions get in touch on 0345 123 2399 or email us: events.fundraising@diabetes.org.uk. We can’t wait to welcome you to our team.

Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK
Join forces with the team that will get you to the finish line. We're the only ones fighting over 200 cancer . Our life-saving work is funded entirely by the generosity of our supporters, so every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, and every runner. One in two people now survive cancer. Together we've achieved so much, but we won't stop until we've beaten it altogether. Join the team today and we will beat cancer.
Strathcarron Hospice
Strathcarron Hospice
Strathcarron Hospice provides specialist palliative care to people across Forth Valley, Kilsyth and Cumbernauld living with life limiting conditions. We want to help people to live with their illness and make the most of the time they have by understanding what is important to them and enabling them to achieve their goals. All of our services are provided free of charge to our patients and their families. Strathcarron Hospice is a registered charity, and we have to raise almost £13,000 every single day, over and above the limited funding we receive, to continue providing the very special services our patients and their families deserve.
Alzheimer Scotland
Alzheimer Scotland
Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland's leading dementia organisation. We deliver high quality, dementia-specific, services and an array of community-based support and activities, from Shetland to the Borders. We campaign to shape and improve policy, as well as being a national and local voice, both of and for, people with dementia and those who care for them. We support a network of Dementia Advisors, a growing number of local Dementia Resource Centres, the Dementia Friends Scotland programme, our 24-hour Freephone Dementia Helpline and a wide range of dementia research through our fundraised income. We believe nobody should face dementia alone.
