With the help of our fundraisers we can make a real difference in the lives of children by providing practical help like food and warm clothes; creating opportunities for training and employability; and enabling social and emotional support for those who need it most. MND Scotland
MND Scotland
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. This may cause someone to lose the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink or breathe unaided. The average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 20 months. There is currently no effective treatment or cure. MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing care and support to people affected by MND, as well as funding research into finding a cure. We campaign and raise awareness to make the lives of people affected by MND better, and provide hope for a world without MND.
