4. VIRTUAL EVENT SAFETY
4.1.It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct equipment, footwear and clothing for your participation the Virtual Event, taking into account weather conditions, your planned running route, and your estimated run time.
4.2.It is your responsibility to ensure your own safety during your participation of this Virtual Event, including but not limited to:
4.2.1.the selection of safe and appropriate running routes and a time of day for your activity
4.2.2.obeying all highway and traffic regulations
4.2.3.ensure that you adhere to appropriate government advice in place with regard to your chosen activity, including but not limited to social distancing measures
4.2.4 ensure that you maintain appropriate levels of hydration, taking into consideration the weather conditions in your location
4.3 You acknowledge that we will not provide any assistance to you during your run, including but not limited to hydration supplies (e.g. water), volunteers, marshals, or medical assistance.
4.4 We take no responsibility for any accidents or injuries sustained during your participation in the Virtual Event.
4.5 We recommend that you let a family member or friend know your intended route and the amount of time that you expect to be out.
4.6 For Virtual Events where participation is open to children under 18 years, it is the responsibility of a suitable adult to ensure the safety and wellbeing of a child at all times when the child is participating in the Virtual Event and that the child is closely supervised throughout.
4.7 You warrant to Nova International Limited that you are, and will be on the Virtual Event Start Date, sufficiently fit and healthy to participate in and complete the Virtual Event unaided and in accordance with this Agreement. If you are in any doubt we recommend that you seek medical advice.
