GREAT NORTH RUN BALLOT SKIP COMPETITION 2024 TERMS & CONDITIONS
This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only and must be 18 years old or over at the time of entering.
The competition excludes employees or partners of The Great Run company and/or anyone professionally connected with the competition and their immediate families.
The full competition period starts at 08:00 on Thursday 4th January 2024 GMT and runs until 12:00 on Friday 5th January 2024 GMT.

Competition Prize
2 x Great North Run 2024 Ballot Skips and 2 x Hospitality Passes –
A ballot skip will allow the winner to skip the ballot queue for the 2024 Great North Run. Please note, this only guarantees the opportunity to purchase and is not the equivalent of a free entry into the 2024 Great North Run.
Hospitality passes must be claimed by the same two entrants that claim the ballot skips. Hospitality passes will be sent out in the post prior to the event and give the pass holder;
- access to the VIP tent at the end of the race where complimentary food and drink is available
- a free parking pass close to the finish line
- access to the VIP massage tent
- access to the VIP assembly area
Entrants will be entered into a prize draw and selected at random from all entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions.
All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. In the unlikely event a prize should become unavailable, The Great Run Company reserves the right to substitute for an alternative prize of equal value.
The Great Run Company reserves the right to withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice but this will not apply to any competition which has already started. The competition can be cancelled where entries have not yet commenced.
Competition Winner
The Great Run Company will contact the winner via their form of competition entry (either on the competition social post, via social direct message or via email address provided), within 2 working days of the daily competition closing.
Winners must claim their prize within two weeks of notification from The Great Run Company. If the prize is unclaimed after this period, The Great Run Company reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to an alternative entrant using the same selection method.
Please note the prize cannot be collected from The Great Run Company head offices.
Delivery of the prize will be organised by The Great Run Company:
- Ballot skip will be organised online by Great Run
- Hospitality passes will be sent directly free of charge
By entering this competition you are agreeing to your name and entry to be published on Great Run digital channels and on this webpage, and that you are over 18 years of age.
By participating in this competition, you are granting Great Run the access to use your photographs in future marketing material and social media advertising.
If you change your mind, please inform us in writing and we will remove your name from further use.
