Great North 10k entries are open to runners aged 15+ (10k) on the day of the event. A booking fee (£2 per entry) is applied at checkout.

We are proud to partner with the Newcastle United Foundation for the AJ Bell Great North 10K, and to celebrate this partnership all participants that choose to run and raise funds for NUF will receive a special edition run number and start in a special NUF wave. The Foundation is focussed on improving the lives of thousands of local children, teenagers, adults, families and the older generations. Our Runners in Action
Find Runner PhotosStarting on the famous AJ Bell Great North Run start line, runners will follow the first 3km of the GNR course and pass across the iconic Tyne Bridge twice, before weaving through Newcastle city centre. Runners will take in plenty of famous landmarks on route including The Sage, Grey’s Monument, Eldon Square, Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle Civic Centre, Haymarket; and Great North Museum. A grandstand finish awaits on the town moor, along with post event celebrations in the Apres Run zone.

What You Get
We have made the decision to introduce optional finisher tees to our Great Run events. You can choose to forgo a finisher tee shirt at the point of entry, and in lieu of this we will make a donation to the National Trust Woodlands Appeal. Find out more here. We will donate a portion of the fulfilment costs for each runner who chooses this option to the fund and commit that this donation to be a minimum of £20,000 in 2023.
