Ready to do it all again next year? The AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Manchester Run will be back in 2025, sign up to find out when entries open.
Make some noise for the biggest – and, in our humble opinion, best – kids’ run in the North West, the AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Manchester Run! The event gives the younger ones the opportunity to take centre stage with fancy dress, high-fives, and lots of local support. It’s an incredible event and all part of the iconic Great Manchester Run.
Mini entrants (3-8 yrs) must run with a parent, each child should be entered into the event. Junior entrants do not need to be accompanied by an adult although this can be requested upon entry if required, each child should be entered into the event.

Superpower
This year’s theme is ‘Finding Your Superpower’ so don’t forget to get your best super hero fancy dress prepared to wear on the day.
If you’re planning on being a superstar spectator on Saturday, we want to see who you’re cheering on and your encouraging messages of support. Download our spectator signs, print them out, colour them in, and bring them along on race day. We’ll be looking out for the best ones!

Route Map
We’ve made some exciting updates to the route for 2024. Junior and Mini runners will start on the track in the Manchester Regional Arena, with a view of the Etihad Stadium in the background, before making their way around the Stadium and under the Nexen Bridge. A grandstand finish awaits in the Manchester Regional Arena where spectators will be waiting to cheer our future running stars over the finish line.
