It’s fun to run, and running with friends and family is even better! The Junior & Mini Great Scottish Run, part of the Great Scottish Run weekend, is a brilliant introduction to running events for kids.

Entries to the Junior (2.5k) and Mini (1.5k) Great Scottish Run are now open.
Let your budding athlete experience a finish line feeling that will inspire a life long love of being active!
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 guidance and restrictions, there will be some changes to how the event day will operate to ensure the safety of all participants and staff. However, the essence of what makes our Junior and Mini events the best children’s running event in the UK, will still be at the very heart of the day.
In the scenario of a 2021 event date change or cancellation by us and for whatever reason, all entrants will be automatically deferred into the subsequent staging of the event.
Entry
Information
Mini entrants (3-8 yrs) must run with a parent, each child should be entered into the event.
Junior entrants do not need to be accompanied by an adult although this can be requested upon entry if required, each child should be entered into the event.
Parents, please note. Don’t use your own Great Run login to enter children – this has your name and date of birth associated with it. Use their existing login (if they’ve taken part before) or follow the link to register and create a unique username and password for them.
You can use your own email address as the contact address to receive updates from us ahead of the event.
