Global Running Day Competition
Did you know the first Wednesday of June is Global Running Day? Wednesday 7th June 2023 marks a very special day in the running calendar, one where we would like to encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to lace up their running shoes, hit the pavement, trail, or treadmill and embrace the joy of running and promote a healthier lifestyle.
Whether it’s a short jog, a leisurely run, or a challenging race, the important thing is to get your body moving! Global Running Day is a reminder that running is accessible to all, regardless of age, background, or fitness level!
To celebrate this day, we are giving three (3) lucky runners the chance to win two (2) entries into one of our AJ Bell Great Run Series events this year!
For your chance to win:
1. Like and share the social media competition post on Wednesday 7th June 2023
2. Follow Great Run on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (Based on the channel you are entering on)
3. Tag your running buddy in the comments along with the event you would like to take part in.

This prize includes entry into this year’s AJ Bell Great North 10K on Sunday 2nd July, AJ Bell Great Scottish Run 2023 on Sunday 1st October 2023 and AJ Bell Great South Run on Saturday 14th-15th October 2023.
This prize does not include entry into this year’s AJ Bell Great North Run.
After this point, we will gather all entries from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and randomly select a winner which will be announced the week commencing 12th June 2023.
Winners will be notified by original method of entry (via their social media post) and prizes must be claimed within 14 days of notification.
This prize is not transferrable, refundable and cannot be exchanged for the monetary value of the race.
Competition entrants must be 18 or over and a UK resident.
Entry to this competition excludes employees or agents of The Great Run Company and/or anyone professionally connected with the promotion and their immediate families.
This prize does not include travel or accommodation.
By participating in this competition, you are granting us the access to use your photographs in future marketing material and social media advertising.
If you change your mind, please inform us in writing and we will remove any mentions of name or imagery from further use.
