Social Competition Terms and Conditions
GREAT RUN ADVENT ENTRY TERMS & CONDITIONS
This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom and must be 18 years old or over.
The competition excludes employees or partners of The Great Run company and/or anyone professionally connected with the competition and their immediate families.
No purchase necessary and entry is free.
The full competition period starts at 08:00 on Friday 1st December 2023 GMT and runs until 23:59 on 25th December 2023 GMT.
Each competition will go live at 08:00 and will be live until 23:59 the following day.
(For example, Competition Prize 1 will go live at 08:00 GMT on Friday 1sr December and entries will close on Saturday 2nd December at 23:59 GMT)

For your chance to win, the competition post will prompt you to enter either one of three ways.

Competition Prizes
There will be a new competition prize on the following dates: 1st, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd and 24th December.
Prizes will be selected each day but not necessarily in the order below.

*Skip the Great North Run ballot will allow the winner to skip the ballot queue for the 2024 Great North Run. Please note, this only guarantees the opportunity to purchase and is not the equivalent of a free entry into the 2024 Great North Run.
Each competition will go live at 08:00 and will be live until 23:59 the following day. (For example, Competition Prize 1 will go live at 08:00 GMT on Friday 1st December and entries will close on Saturday 2nd December at 23:59 GMT)
Entrants will be entered into a prize draw and selected at random from all entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions.
All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. In the unlikely event a prize should become unavailable, The Great Run Company reserves the right to substitute for an alternative prize of equal value.
The Great Run Company reserves the right to withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice but this will not apply to any competition which has already started. The competition can be cancelled where entries have not yet commenced.
Competition Winner
The Great Run Company will contact the winner via their form of competition entry (either on the competition social post, via social direct message or via email address provided), within 2 working days of the daily competition closing.
Winners must claim their prize within two weeks of notification from The Great Run Company. If the prize is unclaimed after this period, The Great Run Company reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to an alternative entrant using the same selection method.
Please note the prize cannot be collected from The Great Run Company head offices.
Delivery of the prize will be organised by The Great Run Company direct to the winners free of charge.
The Great Run company cannot guarantee delivery of prize pre-Christmas.
By entering this competition you are agreeing to your name and entry to be published on Great Run digital channels and on this webpage, and that you are over 18 years of age.
By participating in this competition, you are granting Great Run the access to use your photographs in future marketing material and social media advertising.
If you change your mind, please inform us in writing and we will remove the imagery from further use.
