Oh What Fun it is to Run...
Complete the 12 runs (or walks) of Christmas (or more – why not?) of any distance between 1 and 25 December and earn yourself a medal, which is a tree decoration.
One of the best things about the accumulator challenge is that you can complete your 12 (or more) runs anywhere you like and at any time of day that works for you. So whether it’s an early morning jog on the beach, a lunch-time run to the shops, or a late night walk with the dog – they all count! But wait, there’s myrrh… we’ve also got an optional distance challenge if you choose to accept it. Go on – you’ll even bag yourself a digital certificate.
The challenge starts on 1 December and ends on 25 December, and you can join anytime from Monday 14 November at 10am until Friday 9 December at 10am. There’s a £15 fee to join, which gets you a unique finisher’s medal, access to our online tracking tool, and support throughout the challenge.
It’s open to all ages so the whole family can get involved, and you can run, jog or walk – whatever suits you! Even if the weather outside is frightful, this delightful challenge will fire you up to keep running through December.
There are a limited number of entries available, so don’t miss out. Sign up today! – and may all your miles be merry.
Complete the 12 Runs of Christmas
Run (or walk) at any pace and distance that works for you. Just make sure you do at least 12 runs (or walks) by 25 December to complete the challenge and earn your certificate. You’ll also get your very own medal which is an extra special tree decoration. It’ll arrive before Christmas, so you can wear it with pride before hanging it on your tree.
(Optional) Accumulator Distance Award
We’ve got a choice of three distance challenges to aim for. Depending on how far you travel over your 12 (or more) runs/walks, we’ll award you a bespoke digital finisher’s certificate to download and share.
A round of santa-plause – 30 Miles
Holy Night! – 60 miles
There’s snow stopping you – 100 miles
Log your runs with our online tracker – which goes live here on the event page from 1 December – or use your own tracking app or device to record your activity. Once you’ve completed all of your runs and reached your target distance, simply submit your results and we’ll have your digital finisher’s certificate with you before you can say “Ho ho ho.”.
If you have any queries, see our December Accumulator challenge FAQ section here for more information.
