Challenges start on a Monday, so you can choose to start on the Monday just gone, or the next Monday in the calendar. Each challenge costs £10 to join – your entry fee includes a unique finishers medal, access to training plans & tips, and support throughout the challenge.
The 7 miles in 7 days challenge can be completed in as many or as few runs as you like. Simply complete 7 miles in total over the 7 day period to complete the challenge. After all, a mile a day keeps the doctor at bay! There are three 28 day distance challenges ensuring there is a challenge for all – 50k, 100k and 150k. The challenge is to reach or exceed the distance total over the 28 day challenge period. This can be done in as many or as few runs as you like.
Our Junior challenge is for runners aged 14 and under. The challenge is to complete 7km in 7 days and this total can be completed in as many or as few runs as you like.
Once you’ve completed the distance or at the end of your challenge period, you need to submit your results in order to complete the challenge and claim your hard-earned medal. Once you’ve got your shiny new medal hanging around your neck… why not take the next step up & earn your next medal!

Enter the last seven digits of your Great Run Solo Registration ID and date of birth to log in.
Your Great Run registration ID is the unique reference number found in your entry confirmation email. e.g. if your reference is ACDE22S4588R4990087, enter 4990087. Help.
For runners aged 15 and over choose from 7 miles in 7 days, or 50K, 100K or 150K over 28 days challenges.
Runners aged 14 and under should enter the Junior Challenge to complete 7K in a week.

Great Run Solo
Join our official Great Run Solo Strava group & track your runs with other runners taking on a distance challenge.
We suggest you use a tracking app to log your running activity during your challenge – any tracking app or watch can be used. You also have the option of using our online tracker to log each run as you go, this is available on each Great Run Solo Challenge page during the challenge period.

Each distance challenge has a different medal design.
Please be patient as medals will arrive approx. 2 weeks after you have completed the challenge. For international runners, there is an additional £3.50 charge to cover medal postage.
