Great Run Series Announces Deal With Arnold Clark
The Great Run Company has announced a three-year partnership with award winning new and used car retailer Arnold Clark who will provide a fleet of vehicles across its mass participation events.
Arnold Clark is Europe’s largest independently owned, family-run car company and will supply all vans and vehicles for Great Run, Great Swim and City Games events.
The partnership, starting in September 2016, begins with providing a fully branded fleet for the world’s biggest Half Marathon, the Great North Run.
The world’s favourite run, broadcast live on BBC One, will see 57,000 participants take on the 13.1 mile route on Sunday 11 September.
The Great North Run will be the highlight of a spectacular weekend in the region, which also features the Great North CityGames, the Great North 5k plus the Junior and Mini Great North Run.
With over 60 years of experience, Arnold Clark will be working behind the scenes with their vehicles ensuring all events are set up on time.
They will also transport the best athletes in the world to the start line, move press reps around courses and carry the all-important timing clocks for elite races.
