2024 AJ Bell GREAT NORTH RUN ENTRY WITHDRAWAL

If you are unable to run and have to withdraw from the 2024 AJ Bell Great North Run, we will guarantee you an entry for the 2025 event. Please note that entry fees are not refundable under any circumstances (see terms and conditions), however, we do offer the option to apply for a guaranteed entry for the following year.

Once an entrant has committed to withdraw their entry they cannot be reinstated into the event.

Race numbers have already been allocated. If you receive your race number after you have withdrawn your entry there is no need to return this to us – you must destroy it. If we subsequently find that a withdrawn race number has been used the entrant forfeits their guaranteed entry in the subsequent years’ event.

In order to secure your guaranteed place in 2025, you must meet the deadlines outlined in the withdrawal process and pay the entry fee for the 2025 event.

We will contact you via email in November 2024 with details of how to register and pay for your guaranteed place (please ensure you keep the email on our records up to date). Great Run cannot be held responsible for unreceived emails; if you have not heard anything by December regarding your 2025 entry it is your responsibility to get in touch with us to request entry information.

For charity entries, once your place is deferred you will revert back to the charity, and they will reach out to you in November regarding securing the entry for 2025.

Withdraw Your Entry

To withdraw your AJ Bell Great North Run entry please complete the form below. You will need to enter the 24 character booking reference found in the email from Let’s Do This confirming your successful entry. For example: 628c3a2ac7eb41af84ab22bd, along with your name and email address.

FAQ

Where can I find my booking reference?

This can be found in your booking confirmation email from Let’s Do This. This email was sent from hello@info.letsdothis.com.

Contact us here if you are having trouble finding this, and a member of our team can confirm this for you. Please include your full name, date of birth and postcode so that we can find your entry.

What do I need to do if my race number arrives in the post?

Since race numbers have already been allocated, we cannot stop your number from being sent out to you. They are due to arrive with participants approx. 2 weeks prior to the event weekend. There is no need to return this race number to us, so please destroy it. We will be doing checks, and if a withdrawn race number is subsequently used the entrant forfeits their guaranteed entry into the following year’s event.

I have requested to withdraw my entry, what happens next?

We will be contacting everyone who has requested to withdraw their entry by email in November, with instructions of how to register and pay for their guaranteed entry into the following year’s event. Please make sure the contact email address we have for you is correct and contact us here if you have not heard from us by December, as we will need to get your entry secured before we open the AJ Bell Great North Run ballot in early January.
