New for 2022. Let us introduce you to the Après Run Zone!
The fun doesn’t stop after you’ve crossed the finish line at a Great Run. Once you’ve powered through the final few miles, continue the high-energy celebration and embrace the post-run high by stepping into our brand new Après Run Zone.
Secure your finishers t-shirt and medal, and join all the other runners enjoying the perfect place for post-race celebrations. Meet up with spectators, family, and friends to celebrate and enjoy the post-run buzz. It’s the perfect post-run party to continue on the celebration.
You’re invited to relax, rewind, recharge and revel in your achievement.
WHAT’S THERE?
- We’ve got Heart Radio DJ truck pumping out high energy, club classic anthems to keep the mood high, and celebrations ongoing.
- There will be a variety of food and drink stalls to indulge in, including a Finishers Marquee with Wylam Bar (Great North Run). Consider it your post-run, well-deserved reward!
- Take a seat and soak up the atmosphere and the sense of pride and achievement as we’re also ensuring there is ample seating and picnic benches available within the area.
Once you’ve relaxed and recharged in good company and in high spirits, head along to explore the exhibitors and charity stands.
